Jocelyn employs a variety of research-backed treatments, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and CBT for insomnia. She also gained valuable experience at Premium Health Center’s Women’s Behavioral Health unit, providing culturally sensitive psychotherapy for perinatal mood and anxiety disorders (PMADs) and infertility to Ultra-Orthodox Jewish women and their partners.
Jocelyn is committed to fostering meaningful community connections. She served on the Board of Directors for Moderation Management for three years and on the Advisory Board of BIGVISION for four years, helping clients feel supported and less isolated in their journey toward recovery.
She believes in creating a compassionate, non-judgmental space for her clients: “Clients often come to therapy feeling judged and misunderstood. I have found it meaningful to give clients a compassionate, non-judgmental space which holds their suffering with respect—and allows them to improve their relationship with substances.”
Jocelyn earned her Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) from Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology at Yeshiva University and her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Oberlin College.
