Jody Kemmerer is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with an office in Tribeca, Manhattan. With nearly two decades of intensive training and clinical experience, she is an expert in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP). Through these approaches, she helps individuals manage difficult emotions and uncover their innate resilience. She specializes in supporting individuals with trauma, borderline personality disorder, anxiety, and depression.

In addition to her expertise in DBT and AEDP, Jody is passionate about incorporating mindfulness techniques into her sessions. I am here to help you develop a clearer and kinder relationship with yourself. I use simple, interactive approaches to help build your strengths and activating your wise mind. I bring to our work expertise in how to effectively manage anxiety, depression and other painful emotions. We work together to attain the change you desire. My 17 years experience as a practitioner of meditation, has given me a compassionate presence and deep understanding of what often blocks us from accessing our talents and resilience. I am firm believer in everyone's innate capacity to heal.
