Professional statement

Joelle's therapeutic approach includes allowing her clients to explore current and past experiences and how they are affected by them. She encourages her clients to speak at their own pace and according to their comfort level to ensure a warm and nonjudgmental space for them to express themselves. Joelle's focus is typically Humanistic, Psychodynamic, Solution-focused, and Existential. She also offers CBT-I for those looking to treat insomnia.

Joelle knows that finding the right therapist can be difficult. She hopes that she can help make this process a little easier whether it be working together or helping you find someone who is a better fit for your needs.

Message to clients

Hello and nice to "meet you"! I'm very glad you could stumble upon my page. I know that oftentimes simply living can be a struggle, and I am here to hopefully help. My goal is to help my clients through these struggles. Rather than telling them what to do or how to navigate their struggles, I hope to give my clients the tools they need in order to do this on their own, independently. More than anything, what I want my clients to take away from our sessions is feeling that they have developed awareness over how to make the healthy and right decisions for themselves and thus the power over their own lives and their happiness.
