Message to clients

I know what it's like to be the one sitting of the couch looking to a therapist for help. It can certainly feel a bit awkward at first, but I know that if I can make positive changes in my life then you can too. My goal is to be like a coach in your corner, helping you get to where you want to go. I can't fight the battles for you, but I have fought my own and I have learned some tools that I think will help you make some significant shifts. These tools have worked for me and they continue to work for me. Some tools are ridiculously simple, others take some practice.

When you work with me you will learn the language of your body and mind in a way that empowers you to live a life that is more centered, calm, and confident. One of the main tools I use is an evidence based therapy called Internal Family Systems (IFS). It helps you call a cease-fire in your inner world, get clarity, and move forward with a deeper sense of self-compassion and freedom.

Whatever your starting point is, it doesn't have to be your end point.

Hang in there!
