John utilizes Motivational Interviewing to help clients better understand the reasons why they behave the way that they do. He also draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), narrative therapy, and family system therapy. Clients learn various coping techniques to bring with them into their everyday lives.
John earned a Master’s degree from Northcentral University. He is a strengths-based therapist who empowers clients to recognize their innate strengths, as well as use their individual traits to accomplish their mental health goals. He equips clients with the mindsets they need to continue on their paths forward.
