Message to clients

Reaching out for therapy is an important and empowering step towards a healthier future. Providing a safe, nonjudgmental time with each individual is essential for growth. Regardless, if it is in office or online, I strive to give each person the space and respect to be themselves. The past is unchangeable, however it's impact on you in the present is something that can be changed. Discovering and nurturing your strengths is important. Too often our shortcomings occupy a disproportionate amount of energy. I believe one does not build on faults. The challenge is to spend less time looking for the "why" but focus on "what" can be done.

Psychotherapy is a journey. My responsibility is to be a "guide" in defining your own and unique path.
