Joi Mosley is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Clarksville, Tennessee. She works with individuals and groups. Many of Joi’s clients come in to address mental blocks, depression, anxiety/stress, anger, trauma. Joi is particularly passionate about serving athletes and coaches. Joi completed her undergraduate program at Northwest Missouri State University. She majored in Psychology while also receiving a minor in Criminal Justice. Joi received her Masters in Social Work from Austin Peay State University. Joi has over I5 years of experience working in the mental health field. Joi offers both in-person and remote therapy sessions. Joi is licensed Tennesse, Kentucky, and Texas.
Joi is trained in several modalities but frequently uses Solution Focused Therapy (SFT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT. Joi has also created a framework called M.E.A.L. P.R.E.P. which she uses with some clients who are unable to frequent therapy as often as they would like due to competition schedule. This approach supports clients with increasing the ability to identify barriers in decision making, release the mental block and identify self-worth with the hopes of rekindling their passion for life and love for sports. In session, Joi focuses where the client feels comfortable beginning and explores the thoughts and emotions as it relays to current concern. Joi explores self-worth through music, physical activity and creative exploration.
Joi's style is eye opening, encouraging and challenging. When clients first start therapy, Joi wants to build a rapport with the client and create a safe space ensuring THERAPLAYBOOK’s therapeutic approach is what is in their best interest.

Self-doubt - Exploring how self-doubt shows up in one’s life and the origins of this self-doubt; training oneself in self-esteem and confidence
