His prior work as a wilderness therapy guide in Southwestern Utah informs his ability to bring deep and transformational energy to the therapy space. Josh has spent significant time living and working in remote rural parts of the world and has been trained in various styles of meditation and energy work during his travels in Thailand, Indonesia, Myanmar, as well as Central and South America. Josh excels at supporting client's managing life transitions, relational stress, and living a life of sacred purpose.
Josh utilizes evidence based mental health interventions such as CBT and IFS along with somatic techniques (meditation, breathwork, parts work) to facilitate experiences of inner peace and a greater ability to take aligned action. Josh also offers tremendous insight around fostering healthy and connected relationships. Josh believes healthy connection is a cornerstone to mental well being, and draws from the Relational Cultural Therapy model to provide clients with opportunities and tools to manifest and sustain vibrant relationships in their lives.
