Dr. Josiane is a Family Systems researcher and a 2015 Fellow of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy and Substance Abuse Mental Health Services Administration (AAMFT/SAMHSA). Her MFP quantitative research findings and doctoral dissertation served as her inspiration for her book, "Compassionate Love in Intimate Relationships." Formally trained in family therapy, she earned her Bachelor in Motion Pictures and her Master in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Miami. Her PhD in Marriage and family therapy is from Nova Southeastern University. Dr. Josiane holds a license in mental health counseling, and certifications in Structural Equation Modeling (SEM), Integrative Coaching, Strategic interventions, and play therapy.

I'll take you on a journey of exploration and discovery to your true self, with attention on and intention to manifest your dreamed reality and best version of you.

The 60 or 90 minute sessions are best weekly for rapid change. Bi-weekly or monthly sessions are also available depending on your needs and the treatment goals and objectives. I offer packages to both individuals, couples, and families, upon request.


Couples counseling - Addressing relationship challenges and life transitions; strengthening communication and feelings of security, desire, connection, and love

Women's issues - Therapy tailored to common concerns among women; providing a safe and understanding space to address life challenges, stressors, and questions around identity as a woman

Family issues - Promoting communication and supporting family members to address challenges and reduce conflict and distress

Child mental health - Specialized strategies for common childhood disorders including attention issues, attachment problems, behavioral disorders, learning disorders, autism spectrum diagnoses, and feeding or elimination issues.

EMDR Trauma Therapy - Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing therapy treats mental health conditions that occur due to past traumatic events, PTSD, Adverse Childhood Experiences, and unresolved grief.
