She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies from the University of Wisconsin, a Master of Arts in Business Communications from Emerson College, a Master of Social Work from Boston University, and a post-graduate CBT Certificate from Boston University.
Joy uses collaborative, strength-based, cognitive behavioral, motivational interviewing, harm reduction, solution-focused and mindfulness-based approaches in order to help individuals and couples to make significant progress toward their personal life goals.
