Juana Rincon is an LPC and holistic Psychotherapist in Boulder, Colorado. She works with adults who are struggling with finding meaning in life and are going through an identity and/or spiritual crisis, have lost touch with their inner truth and have a hard time accessing, and expressing their most authentic self. Clients seek Juana when they feel stuck and lost or unable to feel into what they need or want. Juana also works with clients that are highly sensitive and have a hard time navigating this world, establishing boundaries, regulating emotion, and finding balance.
Juana has extensive experience and training in Somatic Based and Trauma informed therapeutic modalities including EMDR, Brainspotting, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy and Hakomi. Juana weaves skill- building, and principles of mindfulness, yoga, meditation, as well as contemplative practices as part of her approach to therapy. Through these modalities Juana supports clients in processing traumatic reactions that are interfering with the ability to connect with joy, relaxation and love; which are the our birthright as human beings. Integration of mental, somatic, emotional, energetic and spiritual dimensions of being, are at the core of Juana’s work with clients. Juana supports clients to align their actions with their CORE and TRUE VALUES, to feel more connected with their spiritual path and life's purpose.
Juana's style is warm, interactive, intuitive and non-judgmental. Juana focus on establishing safety and trust to begin the therapeutic work, and holds the principles of organicity, unity, mind-body integration, and mindfulness (present moment awareness) throughout the sessions.
Juana received their MA from Naropa University in 2015, but has been in the field of psychology and spiritual path for over 20 years. Outside of private practice, Juana likes hiking, swimming, practicing yoga, reading, dancing, being in nature and going on retreats. Remote and in-person sessions available!
