Licensed Clinical Social Worker, LCSW Practice: Grow TherapyJudith Kurtis received her master’s degree in social work from the University of Maryland and has several years of experience working with children, families and seniors. Judith helps individuals overcome their obstacles by focusing on their strengths and helps them create a personal path to reach their goals. She also has a certification in trauma and telebehavioral health. Judith understands the whole person and will help to identify any resources that might be needed. Judith specifically has experience working with anxiety, depression, life transitions, grief and loss, relationship and family issues. With a psychodynamic and strengths based approach within her clinical work, her strong understanding of the developmental needs from childhood to senior-hood provides a foundation for a supportive therapeutic relationship. Judith will help you navigate your choices and your possibilities to move forward.
Anxiety - Coping with excessive worry, nervousness, or stress; intense discomfort in social settings (social anxiety); sudden and intense feelings of panic (panic disorder)
