Judy is a nationally and state certified psychoanalyst. She works with clients on building a deeper understanding of themselves and their life choices. She helps her clients find ways to break the cycle of unhealthy patterns and become more aware of their own authentic voice. She works with clients on a variety of issues including anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, relationship and family issues as well as professional issues. Judy is willing to work with all types of mental health diagnoses.
Judy is particularly passionate about helping men and women of all ages build their self-worth and self-confidence. She helps her clients move beyond their perceived limitations so they can mature into healthy functioning adults.
Judy’s approach to therapy is psychoanalytic. Since each client is different, her treatment approach varies by individual needs. She works with her clients to create trust by creating a comfortable and safe space. Judy helps her clients explore their life choices and find healthy solutions to difficult issues. She is a wonderful listener and is accepting of all backgrounds and identities.
Judy studied psychoanalysis at the Boston Graduate School of Psychoanalysis and the Academy of Clinical and Applied Psychoanalysis. She has extensive experience working with individuals with a variety of mental health issues. Judy is presently on the faculty of The Academy of Clinical and Applied Psychoanalysis (ACAP) where she teaches and supervises psychoanalysts in training.
