Julia Daniele serves teens, adults, and couples in the North Bethesda and surrounding DMV area. She works with individuals, couples, and families. Many of Julia’s clients come in to address communication, intimacy, deeper understanding, conflict resolution, depression, mood instability, life stressors and transitions, and anxiety concerns. She also has advanced training in anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, and ADHD.
Julia's style is non-judgmental, calming, and collaborative. Julia is trained in CBT, Emotion Focused therapy, which focuses on creating and strengthening emotional bonds as individuals and with others (ex. Friends, family, partners, etc.) and much more, and Interpersonal Process therapy. She uses an integrative approach to therapy and believes that deeper understanding, acceptance, insight, and connection are important pieces to promote healing and positive change. In session, Julia focuses on coping skills, thought tracking/blocking, understanding the body and mind, grounding, and skill building. This approach helps clients to gain a deeper understanding of themselves, their relationships, feel more in control, and increases self-confidence.
Julia received her Master of Clinical Professional Counseling from Loyola University Maryland. Outside of private practice, she enjoys running, playing with her puppy named Gus, hiking, and reading a good book. She is available for both in-person and online appointments!
