Julianne Curabba is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in private practice. Julianne provides Teletherapy to adults (ages 24-70) in New York and California via zoom or phone (after an initial period of zoom sessions).
Julianne received a masters degree in Social Work (MSW) and Guidance Counseling (MSEd) from Hunter College in NYC. Julianne has been trained in multiple evidenced based practices. She has attended two years of advanced psychotherapy training at top institutes in NY, as well as seminars and trainings, and is currently a candidate at the Westchester Center for Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy.
Julianne's approach is based on a relational approach that takes into account the whole person - gender, culture, sexuality, social, etc. Julianne works best with those interested in insight oriented therapy and those that understand that therapy is a process that takes time. Julianne provides at a minimum, one 50 minute session per week. Career counseling sessions will be discussed at consultation.

Relationship issues - Understanding one’s wants and needs in relationships; exploring patterns of interaction, addressing concerns, and strengthening satisfaction in relationships and dating
Stress management - Strengthening effective ways of coping with the stress of life and change; managing expectations of self and others
College & graduate student mental health - Specialized strategies for common issues of young adulthood, including school and career stressors, support around healthy relationships, existential concerns, drug or alcohol issues, eating disorders, and anxiety and/or depression.
