Julie Berriault works with people with anxiety and/or depression, PTSD and trauma, problems related to adoption, recovery, and/or are "outsiders" and creatives. Who need to be heard and respected, assisted in processing trauma, changing patterns and behaviors, making decisions, and who want to live a more thriving and meaningful life.
Her work is highly collaborative and non- judgmental. She tailors treatment to the needs of her clients, using acceptance and commitment therapy, Buddhist practice and philosophy, neuropsychology, cognitive behavioral therapy, and her lived experience in adoption, parenting, recovery, and trauma. As your therapist she puts your trust and safety first, from a humanistic and affirming base.
Julie holds an MS in mental health counseling from the University of Massachusetts, Boston. She works on both coasts, in Massachusetts with Resilience Lab, and in California under the supervision of master Marriage and Family Therapist, Elizabeth Jo Stinson.
