Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, LMFT Certification in Perinatal Mental Health, PMH-C PhDDr. Jenkins is a psychotherapist based in Wesley Chapel, FL. She has a master's degree in clinical psychology and a Ph.D. in clinical counseling with an emphasis in marriage and family therapy. She is certified in perinatal mental health, embodied trauma conscious reproductive health, and as a breathing coach. She is also trained in fertility counseling and Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) and is a trained Prepare Enrich Facilitator. She has been supporting clients in a culturally informed manner for about 14 years and has a passion for helping people to find their way through life’s most complex and difficult times.
Dr. Jenkins' main focuses in clinical practice are couples' therapy and perinatal mental health. She often works with families in the preparation of bringing baby home and introducing a new member into the family as well as with families who are dealing with postpartum depression and unfortunate experiences of birth trauma. She also loves helping parents to resolve behavioral issues by creating and implementing support strategies that are individualized to a particular child within the context of their family system.
She currently engages in technology assisted therapeutic services (teletherapy) for individuals who reside in the states of Kentucky and Florida.

Postpartum depression - Coping with persistent feelings of sadness, exhaustion, and/or being overwhelmed after the birth of a child; developing strategies for more positive thought patterns and behaviors.
Pregnancy, perinatal, postpartum mental health - Addressing issues specific to women and families during the pregnancy and postpartum period, including postpartum depression and anxiety
Premarital counseling - Providing a safe and neutral environment for couples to explore expectations and prepare for the rewards and challenges of marriage
