Dr. Jenkins is a psychotherapist based in Wesley Chapel, FL. She has a master's degree in clinical psychology and a Ph.D. in clinical counseling with an emphasis in marriage and family therapy. She is certified in perinatal mental health, embodied trauma conscious reproductive health, and as a breathing coach. She is also trained in fertility counseling and Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) and is a trained Prepare Enrich Facilitator. Dr. Jenkins' main focuses in clinical practice are couples' therapy and perinatal mental health. She often works with families in the preparation of bringing baby home and introducing a new member into the family as well as with families who are dealing with postpartum depression and unfortunate experiences of birth trauma. She also loves helping parents to resolve behavioral issues by creating and implementing support strategies that are individualized to a particular child within the context of their family system.
