He specializes in veteran issues, self-esteem, and improved personal and professional performance.
Karl's practice, OnAzimuth Coaching was created from years of experience as a US Army Infantry officer and Ranger. He has helped thousands of military veterans transition to lives of hope and purpose after the military. His approach aims at understanding a client's internal self-talk and applies cognitive-behavioral, solution-focused, and existential theories with eye movement desensitization and reprocessing therapy to create a path for the client to achieve their objectives.
Karl served for ten years as an Infantry Officer, culminating in serving as the assistant operations officer for the famed 1st Ranger Battalion. Following the military, he held leadership positions in construction equipment sales and management. After the terror attacks of 9/11 he turned his efforts to helping military veterans, ultimately creating the nonprofit GallantFew in 2010.
