Professional statement

Katelynn believes that each person holds within themselves everything they need to heal and grow in the ways they would like. She see the therapist's role as being one in which provides an environment of safety and care where the client can explore themselves authentically. It is through this authentic exploration, that the therapist can help the client discover how patterns and ways of being are keeping the client stuck and resulting in suffering. By bringing into awareness these aspects, the client and therapist can then work collaboratively to release the pain and explore new ways of being.

Katelynn received her doctorate of psychology at Adler University with an emphasis in traumatic stress psychology. She has worked in community mental health, primary care and college counseling. The range of clinical settings in which she has worked has afforded her the opportunity to work with a variety of mental health concerns among diverse populations.

While Katelynn's experiences have been diverse, her clinical interests are in trauma, dissociative disorders, Dissociative Identity Disorder, ritualized abuse (including mind control and SRA), relationship issues, cultural diversity and the impact of oppression, as well as women’s and LGBTQIA issues. She also provides individual therapy and assessments for gender affirming care.

Katelynn currently only practices remotely and conducts session via video chat and currently offers sessions during the day and evenings.
