Kat has been providing counseling in the mental health field for close to 20 years. She has worked with individuals of all ages in settings including partial hospitalization programs, high school school-based programs, and private practice. Her experience includes providing individual therapy for children, adolescents, adults and families. She has experience treating depression, anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder, and relationship issues. Kat has developed curriculums and ran groups for women's empowerment in School Based Youth Services and worked closely with teachers and administration to provide support to students for 12 years. She utilizes techniques ranging from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Play Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. Kat also provides counseling and education to parents to help them develop strategies to overcome barriers and difficulties at home. I look forward to working with you towards that better tomorrow!
