Before her work as a therapist in private practice, Katie was a community social worker for 10 years. She worked closely with adults and adolescents impacted by the child welfare system. Now as a therapist, her philosophy is to consider how the individual difficulties that people face connect to larger systemic problems such as racism, gender discrimination, homophobia, fatphobia, and ableism.
