Katya is an LCSWA with a passion for helping people reclaim a sense of wholeness in a world that tells us we’re broken. She holds degrees in neuroscience and clinical social work, along with certifications in trauma-focused hypnotherapy and various mindfulness and meditation practices. Katya has over 10 years of experience working with traditional and alternative modalities, and is devoted to offering and teaching the most effective pathways for safe and sustainable healing and transformation.
Katya supports clients with a variety of issues including anxiety, depression, relationship struggles, addiction, self esteem, and trauma. Her specialty is working with trauma by utilizing traditional therapy as well as subconscious and somatic approaches to find release and resolution. The work is holistic, dynamic, and effective in helping clients release trauma patterns that have kept them in survival, so they can gain the energy and tools to finally thrive as their authentic selves.
Katya is available for in-person sessions in West Asheville, as well as tele-health throughout North Carolina.

Relationship issues - Understanding one’s wants and needs in relationships; exploring patterns of interaction, addressing concerns, and strengthening satisfaction in relationships and dating
Self-esteem - Cultivating self-compassion, assertiveness, and confidence; developing ways to reduce suffering, anxiety, social withdrawal, and self-neglect
