Kelly Keck is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who works with both individuals and couples. While she works with adults across the lifespan, many of her clients are in their 20s and 30s. She specializes in eating disorders, including anorexia and bulimia, bipolar disorder, career challenges, relationships, anxiety, depression, and life transitions. Some of her clients have just graduated from college and are looking to explore who they are and what they want out of their life. Other clients are older individuals who are navigating retirement, children moving away from home, and/or another major life transition.
Kelly takes a person and client-centered approach. Knowing that each individual is unique, she spends time getting to know her clients before developing an individualized treatment plan. While she was trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and utilizes this method to help clients develop healthy coping strategies and change thought patterns, she also frequently integrates insight-oriented therapies, such as Psychodynamic Therapy.
Kelly wants each of her clients to leave her office feeling more confident and in control. She holds a Masters degree in Forensic Psychology and a Masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from John Jay College.
Kelly recently opened up a group therapy practice based in Pleasantville, NY. Please inquire for more information.
