Kelsey has spent the last several years providing individual therapy remotely.
Kelsey’s theoretical framework is rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and mindfulness-based practices. Kelsey brings in her years of experience with trauma informed care as a healing approach, understanding how past experiences can impact current issues. Kelsey also specializes in Lyme-literate therapy.
Kelsey has both clinical and personal experience with chronic illness and Lyme disease/tick borne illnesses. She has a vast knowledge of the neuropsychiatric manifestations of Lyme. Kelsey can relate to the complex challenges that chronic illness and/or Lyme sufferers face including neglect and gaslighting from the medical community, friends/family and society. These experiences can often lead to a very isolating and traumatic healing journey.
