Professional statement

Hello, my name is Kenneth W. Pranoto and I am a Licensed Master’s of Social Work in Texas, New Mexico, and Colorado. I have been trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Emotion Family Focused Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing.

I specialize in helping individuals, couples, and families navigate the complexities of their emotional and mental health by integrating evidence-based therapeutic approaches with a compassionate and client-centered approach. My passion lies in empowering clients to discover their strengths, develop resilience, and achieve their personal goals. I am particularly interested in working with individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues, and I tailor my approach to meet the unique needs and circumstances of each client.

I believe it is my role as a therapist to create a safe and restorative environment, offering compassionate support for personal growth and healing. My aim is for individuals to feel empowered and secure while receiving the attentive listening they need to make meaningful changes in their lives. I apply my training and specialty with a focus on empathy, respect, and collaboration, working closely with clients on their journey toward healing and growth.

Together, we can work to identify and address the underlying issues impacting your well-being. We will explore your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, and develop practical strategies to manage stress, improve relationships, and enhance your overall quality of life. Our work will involve setting realistic goals, building coping skills, and fostering a sense of empowerment and self-efficacy. This therapeutic journey is a collaborative process, and I am committed to walking alongside you every step of the way.`

Message to clients

Before we start our sessions, I want to share a few things that I believe will be important for our work together. My primary goal is to create a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental environment where you can feel comfortable expressing yourself. I understand that opening up can be challenging, and I am here to listen and support you at your own pace. Your honesty and openness will be crucial for us to make meaningful progress, so please feel free to share whatever is on your mind, knowing that everything we discuss is confidential.

I hope for our sessions to be a space where you can gain clarity, find solutions, and develop skills that will help you in your everyday life. Whether you are dealing with specific issues or seeking personal growth, I am committed to helping you achieve your goals. I encourage you to be patient with yourself and with the process. Change and healing take time, and it's okay to take things one step at a time.

Lastly, I want to remind you that this journey is collaborative. Your active participation and feedback are vital. If something isn't working for you, or if you have specific needs or preferences, please let me know. Together, we can tailor our approach to best support you. I am looking forward to working with you and am honored to be a part of your journey towards well-being.
