Kevin Andrews, MSW, LCSW is a somatic therapist who specializes in working with individuals impacted by trauma. Kevin specializes in supporting trauma survivors to find healing by learning to regulate their nervous system, positively shifting their relationship with their emotions, and processing the impacts of their past. As a member of the LGBTQIA2S+ community Kevin also has a passion for working with queer individuals.
Kevin utilizes an emotion focused, relational, and somatic approach to therapy. Kevin integrates somatic interventions from several modalities including Internal Family Systems, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy and Emotionally Focused Therapy. Kevin has advanced training in working with individuals who dissociate, as well as those who struggle with emotional dysregulation, attachment disruption and relationship dysfunction.
Kevin earned his MSW from the Boston University School of Social Work in 2023. Prior to attending his graduate program he worked in a non-profit teaching trauma-informed yoga classes to survivors of sexual assault and interpersonal violence, he also worked as a Rape Crisis Counselor. During his graduate program he completed his clinical placement at a Mobile Crisis Unit in New Bedford, MA. He also interned at the Brockton VA providing trauma-informed therapy to Veterans returning from deployment. Since graduating and earning his clinical license, Kevin has been providing therapy to individuals his growing private practice dedicated trauma-informed somatic therapy.
Kevin provides services via telehealth which allows individuals to attend therapy from a comfortable place of their choosing, and to process their trauma in a familiar environment.
