Kierra D. Gray (she/her/hers) is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) supervised by Brittany Woodley, LCSW-S, in the Dallas Fort Worth area. Kierra works as a clinical therapist with Heal Grow Share, PLLC. She works with those dealing with depression, anxiety, co-parenting, grief, LGBTQIA+ issues, and life transitions. Kierra uses her experiences, studies, and a wide variety of life experiences to encourage women to take up space and forge their divine path.

She has a wide range of experiences throughout the mental health field. Kierra has worked with children, teens, families, adults, and a wide range of individuals sorting through the challenges of life's issues. Kierra has administered biopsychosocial assessments, crisis intervention, safety planning, individual and group counseling, discharge planning, care coordination, and diagnosing according to the DSM-5.

Kierra practices utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and a trauma-informed approach. As a Black woman, she's passionate about working with communities of color, especially women. She guides the client on their journey of self-discovery because the client is the expert on their own life.

Kierra graduated with her Master of Social Work from the University of Michigan - Ann Arbor in December 2020. She moved from the Great Lakes region to the Lone State with her daughter in the Summer of 2022. Licensed in Texas and Michigan, she's working to obtain her hours for full licensure in Texas and receive reciprocity in Michigan.

Kierra is currently only accepting virtual clients.

Message to clients

Hello potential client!

I'm proud of you for taking the first step in your mental health journey! If you've been in therapy before, I'm glad you're still looking for the right therapist to fit your needs. As a mental health clinician, I'm passionate about destigmatizing mental health services' role in our lives, especially for Black communities and people of color. I advocate for individuals and families to seek the best treatment based on their needs. In addition, I believe that humans need to heal from generational trauma so the next generation and ourselves can live the best life possible.

Throughout my professional experience, I've worked with children, teenagers, and adults (18+) dealing with depression, anxiety, LGBTQIA issues, and oppression. I've also worked with mothers at all stages of parenting. I conduct group therapy, which can benefit the individual therapy process.

Understanding how society marginalizes us and gathering the tools necessary is essential. I hold space for clients to feel heard, seen, and safe. Through my work, I want communities of color to live life on their terms, unapologetically. Now that you know a little about me, I would love to hear from you! You're not alone.
