Professional statement

Krista Giffin specializes in helping high-achieving professional women on the verge of burnout, as well as their partners and families. Many of her clients struggle to balance personal and professional demands, giving so much to others that little is left for themselves. Krista helps them ease stress, reconnect with themselves, and create the clarity and fulfillment they deserve. Her work empowers clients to prioritize self-care, play, and pleasure while maintaining successful careers and relationships.

Krista’s approach is warm, collaborative, and tailored to each client’s unique needs. She creates a nonjudgmental space where clients can explore their challenges at their own pace. As an LGBTQIA+ affirmative and culturally sensitive therapist, she welcomes individuals in both monogamous and open/poly relationships. She also integrates mindfulness and dream work into her sessions, offering clients deeper insight and tools for lasting transformation.

With a background in life coaching, teaching, and the arts, she deeply understands creative professionals and the pressures they face. She has a natural ability to listen, inspire, and validate, guiding clients toward authentic self-expression and a more fulfilling life. Her passion lies in supporting women and creatives in achieving success without sacrificing their well-being.

Krista sees clients in person in San Marino, CA and offers online sessions throughout CA for individuals and couples, providing flexible options to fit her clients’ busy lives.

Message to clients

You’re smart, successful, and used to handling everything—but lately, it feels like too much. You give so much to your work, your family, your friends, yet somehow, you’re the one left running on empty. You push through exhaustion, telling yourself you’ll slow down later, but “later” never comes. Deep down, you crave more ease, more joy—but change seems out of reach.

What if success didn’t have to come at the cost of your well-being? What if you could feel energized, confident, and deeply fulfilled without the burnout? What if you could return to your pleasure, your desires, and the things that truly turn you on—in life, love, and within yourself?

You don’t have to figure it all out alone. Together, we’ll create space for you—to breathe, reconnect with what lights you up, and shift the patterns keeping you stuck in overdrive. Whether it’s setting boundaries, deepening intimacy, or rediscovering your passion, we’ll go at your pace. I work with individuals and couples, including monogamous and open/poly relationships. My practice is LGBTQ+ and BIPOC affirming, providing a safe, supportive space where you can show up exactly as you are.

You deserve more than just getting through the day. If this resonates, let’s talk. I offer in-person sessions in San Marino, CA and online sessions throughout CA for flexibility. Don’t wait until burnout forces you to stop—let’s start now. Your well-being, your pleasure, and your joy matter.
