Professional statement

Kristen is an MHC-LP Clinician who focuses on creating an effective therapeutic relationship with all her clients. She has an extensive background in working with clients aged 55 and older but sees an array of all clients starting as early as 10 years old. She specializes in anxiety, depression, loneliness, and self-exploration.

Kristen’s preferred therapy approach includes a holistic, person-centered integrative approach with aspects of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) as well. She specializes in the here and now with her clients and challenging them to work through inclusive and overwhelming thoughts. She strives to create a warm, welcoming environment in therapy to make the client feel as comfortable as possible.

Kristen is currently employed with Resilience Lab, a NYC based practice but is taking clients remotely as of right now. Her availability is 8:30am to 6pm Monday through Friday.

Message to clients

When searching for the right therapist, it is crucial to be able to connect with them long term. It can feel overwhelming and uncomfortable at times. I personally like to take the time to get to know you on a personal level to really understand who you are as a person. This makes the sessions more comfortable for you as well as gives us both a chance to really focus on our goals in therapy.

I aspire to have a great therapist client relationship with all of those who I work with to encourage clients to feel safe, welcomed, and not judged. I am here to help.
