Professional statement

Motherhood is supposed to be beautiful, right? But what no one warned you about was the anxiety that keeps you up at night, the intrusive thoughts that make you question everything, or the crushing weight of feeling like you’re failing even when you’re doing everything you possibly can. Some days, you love your baby with every fiber of your being, and other days, you just want to run away for, like… an hour. Maybe two. And then the guilt for even thinking that? Brutal.

You’re not broken. You’re not a bad mom. You’re just going through it, and you don’t have to do it alone.

Kristi Halberstein is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and a certified perinatal mental health specialist. She knows firsthand that postpartum depression and anxiety don’t care how much you love your baby—they hit hard, and they can make you feel like you’ve lost yourself completely. But you can find your way back.

Kristi helps moms navigate the overwhelm, the anxiety spirals, the sleep deprivation, and the impossible standards society throws at us. She’ll help you set boundaries without guilt, quiet the constant self-doubt, and actually enjoy motherhood without feeling like you're drowning in it.

Her therapy style is practical, skills-based, and zero judgment. Whether it’s postpartum struggles, balancing work and family, or just figuring out who you are now, Kristi creates a space where you feel heard, supported, and, most importantly, human.

She offers online therapy for clients in Florida and New York, so you can get help without even changing out of your milk-stained sweatshirt.

You don’t have to white-knuckle your way through this. Help is here. And trust me—you deserve it.

Message to clients

“Mom. Mom. Mooooom.” If you hear it one more time, you might actually lose it. Like, fully, spectacularly lose it. Some days, it’s like that’s all you are. Just a snack-fetching, tantrum-taming, sleep-deprived shell of a person. You love your kids, obviously, but damn—does anyone remember you? Because you sure don’t.

And listen, I get it. You spend every waking second making sure everyone else is okay, only to collapse into bed feeling so not okay. You’re running on fumes, surviving on crusty Goldfish and half-drunk coffee, wondering where the “before-kids-you” went.

But babe, you are not just “Mom.” You are a whole freaking person who deserves to feel like herself again. And if you don’t know where to start? I do.

I’m not here to hand you some unrealistic, Pinterest-perfect plan for “balancing it all.” Nope. We’re gonna figure out what actually works for you—how to ditch the mom guilt, set boundaries without the crushing anxiety, and find some version of peace that doesn’t involve locking yourself in the bathroom just to breathe.

You don’t have to do this alone. You’re not crazy, you’re not failing, and you’re definitely not the only one who’s ever ugly-cried in a Target parking lot. So let’s talk. Let’s figure this out. And for the love of all things holy, let’s get you feeling like you again.
