Professional statement

Kyle Rundles is a psychologist licensed in New Jersey, Massachusetts, and Vermont. Many of Kyle’s clients come in to address adjustment concerns, anxiety, and relationship issues. Kyle is particularly passionate about serving young adults, international students, and trans/nonbinary folks. She also has advanced training in the areas of anxiety, trauma, and depression.

Kyle is trained in narrative therapy and uses elements of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) or solutions-focused work to best fit client needs. In therapy with her, you will use your time together to explore your personal stories, understand where they come from, and transform their meaning in your life. In session, Kyle focuses on grounding, reauthoring, and creative exercises tailored to you. The goal is for clients to have a better understanding of themselves and their values, allowing for living with ease and authenticity that may have been missing before.

Kyle's style is warm, active, and thoughtful. When clients first start therapy, Kyle will work to understand your history and build a strong relationship where you feel safe and heard.

Kyle received her PsyD from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. She has worked in several college counseling centers, with clients from all backgrounds. Outside of private practice, she enjoys hiking, advocacy, and travel. Kyle offers telehealth appointments for your convenience.

Message to clients

We all have so many stories to tell in our lives. Some stories are painful, some are exhausting, and others light up our life. It is extremely brave to take the first step to enter a therapeutic relationship and I am honored to be able to accompany you on the journey. I believe in the rights of every person to reach their full potential, and welcome clients of all ethnicities, races, religions, sexual/gender/relational identities and cultural experiences.

My therapeutic approach explores how ideas of self and the world have formed and works towards reframing these ideas to create personal meaning. I believe strongly that society has a profound impact on mental health and individual concerns do not exist in a vacuum. In therapeutic work with me, clients have the opportunity to explore, acknowledge, and rework the impact that society has had on their wellbeing.

Black lives matter.

Trans lives matter.
