Professional statement

LaQuesha Boston is a licensed professional counselor who specializes in relationships and financial struggles. She works with individuals and with couples at various stages of their life and relationships. LaQuesha has a very open approach that makes her clients not only feel safe and comfortable opening up to her but also with each other.

She's been a relationship therapist for over 12 years and opened her own private practice 5 years ago when she added financial therapy to her specialty. When it comes to relationships, LaQuesha works with clients who experience all types of relationship struggles: infidelity, communication issues, commitment challenges, jealousy & self-esteem issues, blending families together, and much more. When it comes to financial issues, she works with clients who are self-sabotaging their debt elimination goals with overspending, financial infidelity in couples such as hiding money, individuals who fear negotiating their salaries, or those going into business for themselves. She also works with couples where one or both have businesses and are struggling to balance their relationship and career.

LaQuesha's practice is online in order to accommodate the clients she sees in multiple states.

Message to clients

What's the benefit of working with me? Peace of mind in your relationship & with your finances.

Whether you're new to the counseling process or you have experience with it, chances are, you'll find that many therapists do not discuss money with you. Money & personal growth, many times, go hand in hand. In addition to what you're going to therapy about, money tends to be a source of stress in relationships. Couples argue about money, individuals struggle with setting financial boundaries with loved ones, & even deciding how much you want to spend on therapy to prioritize yourself are all areas many clients do not discuss with their therapists.

I believe openly talking about financial struggles, as well as relationship struggles, helps clients gain confidence in every area of their life.

Relationships & money, for many people, are touchy & complicated topics. If you're seeking therapy for only relationship issues, only financial issues, or a combination of the two, I'll help you get unstuck and move forward in order to enjoy all areas of your life again. As you work with me, you'll gain more clarity & a solid understanding of yourself, your relationship, & your finances.
