Message to clients

I offer adult, child/adolescent and family therapy. "I have two doctoral-level degrees, one in clinical psychology and the other in educational psychology, providing both clinical structure as well as a tailored approach to individuals' specific learning styles. I use leading, empirically-validated approaches to treat anxiety, depression, emotional dysregulation, relationship/communication challenges and post-traumatic stress disorder. I bring my experience in research and clinical practice to each session to identify efficient ways to reduce stress, change behavior and achieve your goals. I have worked nationally and internationally with departments and ministries of health and education and have held faculty positions at Hawaii Pacific University, Yale University School of Medicine and Yale Center for Emotional Intelligence. My research publications are in the fields of cultural, educational and clinical psychology.

Since we all enter therapy with individual intentions and motivations, I feel it is important to customize therapy to individuals' specific aspirations. My approach to emotions and behavior change reflects best practices and current advances in developmental, educational and clinical psychology. My purpose is to provide knowledge and skills that improve your ability to manage thoughts, feelings and relationships in order to create less stress and more enjoyment in life.
