Laura Carmody is a licensed therapist based in Atlanta, GA who provides online therapy services for clients living anywhere in the state of Georgia. She provides individual one-on-one therapy services for young adults, adults, and older adults clients. She specializes in grief and loss (particularly related to cancer diagnoses), and issues with relationships, self-esteem, perfectionism, life transitions, gender identity, sexual identity, anxiety, and depression. She is trauma-informed in her approach, and plans to receive trauma treatment training in the very near future. Laura is a proud ally of the LGBTQIA+ community.
Laura approaches client problems holistically, and understands that individuals are comprised of multiple layers. She provides non-judgmental compassionate client care, and welcomes diversity of race, ethnicity, age, religion, sexual orientation, or gender identity.

In her spare time, Laura loves spending time with friends and family. She loves to play with her dogs and cats, and volunteers regularly at a local animal shelter. She loves the diversity that the city brings. She feels privileged to be a therapist.
