Using an approach of cognitive behavioral therapy, you can expect to receive action items after each session. This allows you to work on concrete tools outside of the office, meaning that you're feeling better and accomplishing your goals ASAP.
For insomnia specifically, most can expect to have resolved the majority of their insomnia issues in an average of 4-6 half hour sessions, even the problem has persisted for decades!

Sports psychology - Learn skills and tools to help improve your sport performance. Laura has both the clinical background (LCSW and CMPC) as well as first hand experience having played division I basketball. She works with highly competitive athletes, including all levels of college as well as semi-professional.
