Professional statement

Laura Depko is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 10 years of experience in the field. Laura is one of the only (if not *the only*) therapists in the nation who is a certified diplomate through the Academy of Behavioral and Cognitive Therapy and Certified Mental Performance Consultant (CMPC). Additionally, she is certified in CBT-Insomnia. With these three certifications, Laura is able to serve the clientele she feels most passionate about: Athletes/Performers and individuals who struggle with anxiety and/or insomnia.

Laura (or Depko, if you prefer) is a lifelong learner who has continued to add more certifications and areas of expertise to her repertoire past her graduate school education. She is excited and passionate about her work, and it shows through her working relationships with clients.

Laura's treatment approach is centered around the following: the therapist-client relationship, strengths, goals, and accountability.

Message to clients

Thank you for checking out my profile! Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or need any clarification. By looking at Zencare, you are taking the most important step in your journey to accomplishing your goals! I'm excited for us to get started :).

Since it can be scary/intimidating to reach out to a stranger about some of your struggles, here is some information about me that will hopefully make you feel like I'm less of a stranger. My areas of passion include: helping people (obviously), sports (fun fact, I played division I basketball!), traveling, and spending quality time with those closest to me. Additional interests: coffee, nature, and tattoos.
