Professional statement

With a compassionate and curious lens, I hope to bring attention and insight to your conflicts, needs, and desires. Through the mutual process of striving to understand your subjective experience and your relationships, we will address your emotional and behavioral difficulties and strengthen your self-knowledge on a deep level. I believe the exploration of the therapeutic relationship is a crucial element in psychotherapy, and so I offer an empathetic and collaborative approach.

I have experience in working with trauma, mood disorders, depression, anxiety, addiction, life transitions, and interpersonal conflict. I utilize psychodynamic, behavioral, and cognitive principles and interventions to provide an approach based on your therapeutic needs.

I believe in the strength and resiliency people have within them and utilize the therapy process as a way for you to resolve long standing issues and find a deeper awareness of your internal experience. Feel free to contact me with any questions that you have.
