Caregiving requires patience. It’s a complex, time consuming commitment, and people in these roles often don’t feel valued or supported. As a result of the financial challenges, relationship strain, and isolation that can occur when caring for others, many caregivers are perpetually stressed, burned out, and overwhelmed.
Lauren knows how these challenges can impact mental health. That’s why she dedicated her practice to working with teachers, nurses, parents, and caregivers. Using evidence-based practices like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Lauren creates a space where clients can come back to themselves and focus on their needs.
Some common themes she works on with clients include setting boundaries, addressing people-pleasing, or learning to express needs. Lauren also integrates grounding and mindfulness into her practice so clients can regulate difficult emotions and learn to find calm in chaos.
