Professional statement

LeAnne Delgado is a licensed professional counselor based in Woodbridge Connecticut. LeAnne has worked with a lifespan of clients, families and professionals from diverse backgrounds. Her current therapy focus is working with women ages 20 to 60 years old, offering a Christian-based therapeutic approach for those who request.

LeAnne’s clients are women struggling with multiple challenges, including but not limited to past painful events, anxiety, depression, feeling overwhelmed, stressed in multiple areas of their lives and struggling with over extension of self resulting from difficulty saying “no.”

LeAnne‘s approach is in neuroscience informed cognitive behavioral therapy, solution focused therapy, strength-based and supportive therapy.

LeAnne educates her clients on how the brain processes painful memories, stress and emotions. Clients learn what their emotions mean and how it impacts their body. Clients learn new tools and clarity to live the life they deserve.

LeAnne’s focus is on helping clients experience clarity, reduce their symptoms and see real, practical progress through commitment to the process.

LeAnne’s approach is through an interactive partnership, using the clients own value system, while teaching new values that client can connect to. Client’s emerge feeling more confident, self aware and less self doubt.

LeAnne‘s first approach with a new client, is that they feel heard, supported, that they go at their own pace and feel safe within the therapeutic relationship. LeAnne offers both telehealth and in office appointments.

Message to clients

Welcome! This is your safe space to focus entirely on you without judgement with an experienced, supportive professional who cares about your personal and professional success.

You have an ally that will partner with you on your journey of healing, growth and self discovery. Your feelings are valid and they matter.

Learn why you think the way you do, find clarity in why you feel the way you feel and take time to learn ways to practice self-care.

Discover why you make the decisions you make and why you sometimes feel so overwhelmed and disconnected.

Something to think about, Why can’t you sleep? Why do you keep having painful memories come back throughout your day and night? Why is it that when you’re happy, you can’t really enjoy it, because you’re always waiting for the other shoe to drop, always worried that something bad will happen?

Find out The why’s…… you’re why’s and then learn what to do about them so you can experience peace, calm, clarity and strength that is already in you.

I invite you to discover a new way to live, a way that resonates with you.

It’s your turn, you’re worth it, invest in you!
