LeAnne Delgado is a licensed professional counselor based in Woodbridge Connecticut. LeAnne has worked with a lifespan of clients, families and professionals from diverse backgrounds. Her current therapy focus is working with women ages 20 to 60 years old, offering a Christian-based therapeutic approach for those who request.
LeAnne’s clients are women struggling with multiple challenges, including but not limited to past painful events, anxiety, depression, feeling overwhelmed, stressed in multiple areas of their lives and struggling with over extension of self resulting from difficulty saying “no.”
LeAnne‘s approach is in neuroscience informed cognitive behavioral therapy, solution focused therapy, strength-based and supportive therapy.
LeAnne educates her clients on how the brain processes painful memories, stress and emotions. Clients learn what their emotions mean and how it impacts their body. Clients learn new tools and clarity to live the life they deserve.
LeAnne’s focus is on helping clients experience clarity, reduce their symptoms and see real, practical progress through commitment to the process.
LeAnne’s approach is through an interactive partnership, using the clients own value system, while teaching new values that client can connect to. Client’s emerge feeling more confident, self aware and less self doubt.
LeAnne‘s first approach with a new client, is that they feel heard, supported, that they go at their own pace and feel safe within the therapeutic relationship. LeAnne offers both telehealth and in office appointments.
