Professional statement

Leah Sandlin is a licensed therapist based in Lebanon, Ohio, with a focus on women’s mental health. She supports adult clients in navigating life’s complexities—embracing both the challenges and the strengths that shape each person’s unique journey. Whether it’s addressing depression, working with stress and anxiety, healing from trauma, or navigating major life transitions, Leah’s approach centers on creating a supportive and compassionate space to meet life’s difficulties with greater clarity, resilience, and above all, self-compassion, unlocking pathways to deeper authenticity, wholeness, and well-being.

Leah takes a holistic approach to therapy, honoring the whole person—their stories, struggles, and strengths. She understands that challenges are shaped by the interplay of personal experiences, relationships, environments, and larger systemic influences. Through integrative, evidence-based practices, Leah supports individuals in pursuing their unique therapy goals, inspiring meaningful change that reflects their authentic selves and aligns with their values.

Leah holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Cincinnati and an Advanced Training Certificate in Ecopsychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute. With extensive experience as a psychotherapist working with individuals, families, and groups, as well as a background in mental health education and advocacy, Leah brings both a wide-lens and focused expertise to her work.

Starting therapy is an act of courage, and Leah strives to create a warm, supportive space where healing and growth can unfold naturally and flourish. She offers both in-person sessions in her Lebanon, Ohio office and secure teletherapy for clients across Ohio, providing flexibility to meet individual needs. Whether meeting face-to-face or online, clients can expect a compassionate environment to explore their experiences, navigate challenges, and work toward meaningful growth.
