Professional statement

The most important relationship we will ever have is the one with ourselves, nurtured and cultivated over a lifetime. Finding the right therapist with which to partner in this journey is an essential foundation for building awareness, and ultimately growth and healing. Lenore brings a compassionate, collaborative and holistic approach to working with individuals who have a history of anxiety, depression, or are living with a chronic disease, relationship challenges as well as those experiencing personal and professional life transitions. Lenore also specializes in working with older adults who are facing physical challenges and limitations, as well as caregivers.

After earning her Master’s Degree in Social Work, Lenore went on to study holistic nutrition and lifestyle medicine at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, and also studied functional medicine to further understand the dynamic of mind-body connection as well as how we heal. As both a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker, and National Board Certified Health & Wellness Coach, Lenore believes that all of the ways we nourish ourselves, through our thoughts, connection with others, nutrition, movement, being in nature, mindfulness, restful sleep, as well as the right kind of therapeutic support, helps create a dynamic of healing and wholeness for the body and soul. Lenore now offers CBT for insomnia.

Using a combination of therapeutic approaches like Solution-focused therapy, Mindfulness-Based-Stress-Reduction, CBT, CBT for insomnia, Strength-based therapy, Lenore empowers individuals to get unstuck, and cultivate a deeper sense of self-compassion, growth and healing.

Message to clients

What does wellness mean to you? How do you celebrate yourself? What does your self-messaging sound like? I know how powerful the therapeutic process can be and also how challenging it is to take the first step towards change. In my practice, I partner with my clients to create a sacred space for you to explore your patterns and beliefs, where you hold trauma in the body, what needs healing in you, and to help you become the most authentic version of yourself.
