Dr. Linda Marsanico is a Clinical Psychologist, a Spiritual and Life Coach. She has an integrative approach, viewing clients holistically: looking at their mental, emotional, physical and spiritual well being.
Dr. Marsanico works with clients through the goal of self-love, to accept and know themselves. They may be anxious or depressed - the most important relationship is the relationship to self. Learning to be kind to self is emphasized. Relationships with others flow from this foundation.
People typically seek Dr. Marsanico's assistance when they feel stuck, or when they want more out of life; she works with them in a collaborative way to help them build the framework for the life they choose. Her approach is goal-oriented; she uses techniques like meditation to help clients with behavioral changes. Additionally, while she was analytically trained, she blends elements of problem-solving and other skills-based approaches as well. Clients decide how often they wish to meet, which may be weekly, or every 2, 3, or 4 weeks. Should they wish, they also work on homework between the meetings.
Dr. Marsanico pays deep, mindful attention to her client’s thought processes and behavioral habits in order to assess unhelpful patterns and to formulate a way to overcome them. She often works from a mindfulness perspective, encouraging clients to use mantras and affirmations to encourage positive thinking, and positive ways of moving about the world.
Currently, she works remotely with encrypted Zoom.
