She/Her/Hers
Licensed Master Social Worker, LMSWI work with clients via telehealth in Michigan, Florida, South Carolina, and Vermont.
Lindsey Gould is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and works with adults who struggle with worry, fear, and anxiety. This includes cancer patients and survivors, and caregivers. As a cancer survivor herself, she understands the overwhelming emotions that can come along with cancer treatment. Her style is genuine, warm, and approachable. She likes to find the joy and humor in life and often applies that to her therapy sessions.
Lindsey's approach is based in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, an approach that focuses on helping clients find relief from suffering and building fuller, richer lives. ACT uses mindfulness, self-compassion, and values to help move a client toward the life they want. She teaches grounding tools that can be practiced in stressful situations.
After receiving her MSW from Western Michigan University, she worked in a group practice that saw a diverse group of clients in all age ranges. She worked with clients who experienced stress, anxiety, depression, chronic illness, emotional pain, and traumatic histories.
In her spare time Lindsey volunteers on her local library's Board of Trustees as she believes that libraries are a vital part of a community.
Lindsey provides a safe, compassionate environment. Her space is non-judgmental, inclusive, anti-racist, and affirming of all identities. Because she offers online therapy, she can work with you no matter where you are in Michigan, Florida, South Carolina or Vermont. If you need to use your insurance, she can only accept Michigan-based insurance.
