Lindsey Heselbarth is a licensed Professional Counselor in Texas. She earned dual BA's in Spanish and Political Science at the University of Mary Washington and a Master's degree in Counseling from the University of Wisconsin.

Her passion and experience in helping others creates a warm, trusting atmosphere where clients can share their stories and process their feelings. Message to clients

I excel at helping teens through young adults work through challenges including, but not limited mood disorders, behavioral problems, depression, anger, anxiety, stress, trauma, and adjustment to life changes. I use a variety of methods in my therapeutic practice based on my client's goals with a focus on cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, and motivational interviewing.


ADHD - Skill-building and support around organizational challenges, distracted attention, procrastination; building and maintaining healthy routines and structure

Anxiety - Coping with excessive worry, nervousness, or stress; intense discomfort in social settings (social anxiety); sudden and intense feelings of panic (panic disorder)

Depression - Providing support and promoting healing of hopelessness, low motivation and energy, sadness, irritability, sleep disturbance, and loss of interest and pleasure in life

Relationship issues - Understanding one’s wants and needs in relationships; exploring patterns of interaction, addressing concerns, and strengthening satisfaction in relationships and dating

Stress management - Strengthening effective ways of coping with the stress of life and change; managing expectations of self and others

Substance abuse - Reducing and preventing the negative impact of drug and alcohol use and addictions on physical, emotional, and relational health
