Message to clients

Most often people come to me with symptoms resulting from trauma and through a combination of modalities including EMDR, we are able to change neuro-pathways, learn and implement positive coping skills, and change unhealthy trigger responses. The results are that the brain is able to finally process and become "unstuck", allowing the nervous system to calm and heal.

I encourage balance and often recommend the use of alternative therapies (i.e., Yoga, Meditation, Acupuncture, Massage, Aromatherapy, Tai Chi, etc.) to compliment the evidenced based treatment.

My style is individualized, supportive, informative. When clients first start therapy with me, I will work to understand client's specific needs and create safe place for them to heal and grow.
