Professional statement

Louise is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with 9 years of experience. Her experience includes working with children, adolescents, and adult populations in in-home and outpatient settings. Louise currently primarily works with clients 18+ years old.

Louise aims to provide client-centered, strengths focused care and believes one size does not fit all. She uses a combination of therapeutic models to tailor-fit treatment to your needs and create sustainable changes. She believes that therapeutic interventions/approaches should also be a collaborative process between the client, clinician, and care team. Additionally, she strongly values rapport and collaboration as essential parts of effective therapy.

Message to clients

Welcome! I know it can be challenging to come to a stranger and talk about the deepest corners and parts of yourself. This is why I utilize humor and relatability to create safe spaces to unpack and explore those parts. In our work together, we will utilize a combination of Structural Family Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Bowen Therapy, and The Gottman Method to create sustainable change. Through these methods, I specialize in supporting clients in many areas, including: life transitions, self-esteem/compassion, communication, couples counseling, chronic illnesses, emotional regulation, and loss and grief. Send me a message today and see if we will be a good fit!
