Louise Northcutt is a licensed professional counselor (LPC) in Atlanta, Georgia. Her clients are adults who are interested in personal development, have a sense of wanting a connection to a greater consciousness within themselves. This connection is where we find aliveness, authenticity, resilience, creativity, joy and ease of living. Letting go of what ever blocks this way of being is the focus of therapy. Trauma or overwhelming early experiences are often the source of these blocks.
Louise has an extensive background in treating the effects of trauma. She spent 16 years in training using hypnotherapy to facilitate healing in clients and train with other therapists. She has worked with a wide variety of trauma states, and is skilled in facilitating at the subtle levels. She has also studied the effects of collective trauma. These are addressed through therapeutic trance states, and through conversational inquiry.
Available in person and online, Louise is a certified transpersonal life coach as well. Her background includes ongoing study and practice with a variety of great teachers in yoga therapy, integral theory, meditation, mindfulness, and present moment awareness.
