As a Trained EMDR and a Certified Internalized Somatic Trauma Therapist, Lourie's specialty is helping adults, adolescents, and families who have been traumatized regain control of their lives. She approaches this process holistically by combining emotional and biological techniques. Having lived through her own struggles, Lourie is able to understand her clients, and her IFS training has prepared her to help clients connect with all parts of themselves, healing internalized or long-term traumas. Through a collaborative therapeutic relationship, Lourie supports and empowers clients to face life's challenges and find joy, meaning, and happiness.

Trauma - Coping and healing after threatening or scary events, such as witnessing accidents or experiencing sexual, verbal, emotional, or physical abuse
