Lynnette Hope is a Licensed Professional Counselor located in Nashville, TN. Lynnette is passionate about helping women reconnect with their authentic selves and live with more ease and balance. Many of the clients that Lynnette works with struggle with worry, fear, and overthinking. They find themselves exhausted, burned out, and frustrated by the constant demands of what it means to be a woman with multiple roles that come with high expectations -- caregiver, worker, student, friend, parent, and more. Often, these competing roles and expectations come with feelings of fear, sadness, isolation, guilt, or numbness, as well as a lack of self-care. Through the course of treatment together, Lynnette helps her clients feel newly connected to healthy, fulfilling lives.
Lynnette’s therapy style is patient, down-to-earth, and kind. She draws from several evidence-based modalities including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and mindfulness-based practices. She provides women a comfortable space to explore their thoughts, feelings, ideas, dreams, and what makes them feel like themselves. She supports clients in building up their coping skills and problem-solving abilities so they can navigate their daily lives with ease, self-love, and introspection. She supports clients as they end toxic relationships, persevere through college and graduate degrees, grow their families, explore their sexuality, and more.
Lynnette earned her Master’s degree in Human Development Counseling from Vanderbilt University. She also has a Master’s degree in Theology, which adds to her experience as a supporter of individuals and families. She has additional training in EMDR and Gestalt therapy approaches. With over a decade of experience working with women, Lynnette is ready to help new clients feel connected to their meaningful lives.
