Message to clients

My style is warm, direct, and relational. I strive to build a strong therapeutic alliance and tailor treatment to each individual's unique needs. I have been trained in numerous evidence-based treatment models, including psychodynamic and relational therapy, DBT, CBT, ACT, and mindfulness-based approaches. I believe that change does not occur in a vacuum and utilize a team-based approach, referring to and collaborating with outside professionals and resources.

I works closely with clients to identify and resolve underlying causes of distress, closely attuning to how unaddressed past experiences may be contributing to their suffering. This work is difficult and can often bring painful emotions to the surface. I carefully guide my clients in developing skills to regulate their emotions, tolerate distress, and improve their functioning in relationships. My ultimate goal in therapy is to help my clients live meaningful lives, whatever that looks like to them.
